Hello,
I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Gareth and I have recently started working with Wheelchair Cars.
Wheelchair Cars were looking to offer a position to a local person with disabilities, as over the years, through their line of work, they have become very focussed on the needs of those that have problems with mobility and wanted to give someone an opportunity.
It is sometimes challenging to find suitable positions in employment for those of us with mobility difficulties, and although that should not be the case, it often is. For me personally, it has been very difficult to find employment that suits my situation, however Wheelchair Cars have given me the chance to work in a flexible way that suits my needs and abilities.
As a wheelchair user with limited mobility, to be able to work in an environment that’s core focus is mobility, is a great opportunity and one I intend to make the most of.
As part of my job I will be writing a weekly blog, focussing on stories, issues and information based around disability. I will try to cover anything and everything that you, the reader, will find of interest.
