I recently took my 82yr old mum Betty to visit her sister at the care home where my auntie lives. Mum is in a wheelchair and suffers from water retention which causes her legs to swell.
Sitting in the fully occupied main dining room at the home discussing their health in the very loud voices particular to elderly ladies my auntie said \”Ooo, Bet, your legs look a lot better.\”. To which my mum replied, her voice cutting ringingly through the throng, \”Yes,our Shirley has just bought me a vibrator to use in bed. It really gets my legs going!\”
As nearly every head turned in our direction I joined the conversation adding the correction \”No Mum. It\’s a vibrating massage bed.\”
